- Faculty members have presented research papers at national and international academic conferences and contributes actively to UGC CARE listed and reputed peer-reviewed journals.
- Faculty have served as Resource Persons at seminars, workshops, and faculty development programmes in MG University-affiliated colleges.
- Dr. Deepa Thomas, the present HoD, was awarded First rank with gold medal in the SWAYAM NPTEL online certification course titled “Learning English in Hindi”, attended as part of the Faculty Development Programme, with a consolidated score of 93% in the January 2024 semester.
- Mr. Reneesh Thomas, Assistant Professor in the Department of English and NSS Programme Officer, has been selected as one of the Best NSS Programme Officers under Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam for the year 2024–25. This recognition is a testament to his dedicated service and exemplary leadership in guiding students through the values of community service, social responsibility, and nation-building that lie at the heart of the National Service Scheme.

- B. Dhruvaraj of II DC English made us immensely proud with his elite performance as a member of the cultural team at the Republic Day Camp, New Delhi, in 2026.
- Karthika Praveen of III DC English (2023 admission) bagged numerous prizes in several intercollegiate literary competitions in 2025

- Alka Anna Mary Biju of II PG English, received the Best Paper Presenter Award instituted by Pondicherry University, for her insightful paper titled “Mirroring Change: Literature and Social Transformation” — a remarkable academic achievement that reflects both her scholarly excellence and the vibrant research culture fostered at Deva Matha College.
- Karthika Praveen, 2nd year student of the B.A. English programme (Batch 2023–2026), was honoured with the prestigious Newman Youth Excellence Award 2025 for the Most Excellent Undergraduate Student in Kerala for the academic year 2024–25.
