Experiential Learning

Experiential Learning

The Department of Physics actively promotes experiential learning by providing students with opportunities to apply theoretical concepts through practical engagement and real-world exposure. The department regularly organizes hands-on workshops where students design circuits, build electronic devices, and explore emerging technologies such as robotics and AIoT. These workshops emphasize the philosophy of “learning by doing”, helping students develop technical skills, problem-solving ability, and creativity.

In addition to laboratory activities, the department conducts field visits and industry visits to research centres, scientific institutions, and technology-based industries. These visits allow students to observe scientific principles in practical applications, understand industrial processes, and interact with professionals in the field.

Through these experiential learning initiatives, the department bridges the gap between theory and practice, enabling students to gain meaningful insights into the real-world relevance of physics while strengthening their analytical and practical competencies.
