Programmes Offered

B.Sc. Zoology

The B.Sc. Zoology (Honours) programme provides a comprehensive understanding of animal biology, including taxonomy, physiology, ecology, and evolution. It develops scientific inquiry, laboratory skills, and analytical thinking while fostering environmental awareness and responsibility towards biodiversity conservation. The programme equips students with both theoretical knowledge and practical competence essential for higher studies, research, and careers in biological sciences.

About

On successful completion of the B.Sc. Zoology programme, students will be able to:

  • Exhibit professional ethics and a sense of responsibility towards nature, society, and the environment.

  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the principles of animal biology, taxonomy, physiology, ecology, and evolution.
