Alumni Achievements

Dr. Saji Uthuppan, a distinguished alumnus of the B.A. English programme (Batch 1990–1993), has been conferred the prestigious Malayali Ratna Award by the Global Malayali Council in October 2025. This honour is a moment of immense pride for the entire Deva Matha English family.

Tom Kuriakose, a distinguished alumnus of the B.A. English programme (Batch 2005–2008), has been conferred the prestigious Media Excellence Award 2025 in the category of Best Investigative Journalism. Currently serving as a journalist with News18 Kerala, Tom’s achievement is a moment of great honour for the whole English community.
